The Outback 03:53
VERSE 1 So that is done And the white man prevails The things that have gone Won't be more than tales BRIDGE It's not changing It's seeing the system remain So rearranging For those who live far from the pain CHORUS Now we're on this track No, we ain't turning back The compassion we lack Got lost on the attack In this post-truth outback VERSE 2 It wasn't unseen That hatred and lies would Trump love Opponents old and unclean Can't proclaim they're the Dove BRIDGE 2 All the fears Aren't cured overnight by the news We'll cry those tears For the self-destruction we choose CHORUS
2.
Looking West 06:46
I wait, in the open, Nowhere to hide I'm tired, Each day, Got nothing to give The world, I see, Gone from the inside Do you love, The life, That you live? CHORUS Maybe I should be Frightened Maybe somewhat Prepared Cast your eyes West To what's rising See that no one Will be spared There's a man On the street With his paper cup Blind eyes Empty smile And a song A box Keeps him warm And propped up To face The winter If he lasts that long CHORUS 2 What's done is what we have Chosen What comes is what we Expect Cast your eyes West to what's rising See how a leader Neglects INTRO CHORDS SOLO I walk Through the woods Saying my silent prayer I long For a day Of hope and true care We embrace Brothers and sisters Under the dying sun Aware Our journey Has just begun CHORUS 1
3.
There's too much to even imagine, With all the best will in the world, Reality starts to unravel, Then we see just where we've failed. BRIDGE If it doesn't keep you up at night, It doesn't mean that it's alright CHORUS There's no second chance, Only hurt at hand, Cutting tender scars, The bridge is breaking down, Can we turn around? Is this who we are? A thousand miles all come to nothing, A million tears just dry away, The news rolls on and we keep counting, How many have died there today. BRIDGE CHORUS
4.
Voices 04:48
V1 Silent night I'm done talking Just the sounds Of our dismay One more fight Soon I'm walking Turn around The voices say BRIDGE Thinking how our life fits to a song Are the instincts wrong? CHORUS Stop the echoes now Stop the voices calling For me to give in To the darkness I've become V2 Wipe the tears Talk it over Clear the air It's easy, the end Shared our fears To discover What is there No will can mend BRIDGE CHORUS BRIDGE 2 When will the voices just give up? When will I be safe? BRIDGE 2
5.
Have you forgotten The Apprentice yet? I don't think it's gonna happen again. Have you left Britain yet? I keep asking myself when. I can stop reading your bile, That tells me what to think, I can stop living in denial, That the PC age is just a stink. What are you doing now? Are you filling the air with lies? Maybe you can turn around And be somebody I don't despise. I don't think you can, Katie.
6.
Invent your own. It's creative.

about

A home-recorded, solo EP capturing some of the feelings and frustrations felt in 2016.

It's been a tough year, and a lot of the songs here directly talk about, or take inspiration from, global events throughout the year.

The final track [Insert Your Own Anger] is for you to adapt to your needs. It did have a screamed refrain retelling all of the nonsense said by Donald Trump, but this came across a little preachy. Instead, whatever makes you angry, here are 30 seconds to get it out of your system.

As it's a 'name your price download', I'd really appreciate it if you could spread the word as much as possible.
